Wow, that's terrible.
Hope they end up in jail for a good long visit.

Downbeat is the greatest....
"Sam B" is actually Sam Bush, a ridiculous bluegrass mandolin/guitar player in Nashville, and "Soulgrass" is the name of Bill Evans' new album that is coming out in September.
Those of us that attended the Evans show(s) at Yoshi's in May got a good taste of what the album is going to be like. If Vinnie's playing at Yoshi's is any indication, it's gonna be one hell of an album!
Per Bill Evans' rants during introductions and whatnot, the album also includes Bela Fleck, Stuart Duncan and Jerry Douglas.
Is it September yet???

Comments Vinnie, No need to e-mail back, I know you're busy. Just a quick blurb to thank you for the phone chat. You're eloquent and insightful... and you did one helluva job on soulgrass--I didn't have to prompt Victor W or Sam B for accolades on you, it just poured out...I'll get you a copy of the story when it runs a few months down the road. Thanks again, chief. All best.... frank jh db/Blender/blahblah
is soulgrass a new album with Victor Wooten? I can't think of who Sam B could be though?
anyone know anything about this?
edit: i just googled downbeat and they are a mag (everyone prb knew that) but oh god looks like their site has been hacked....the hacker even left his e-mail adress...check it out:
http://www.downbeat.com
